Currently working as a Community Specialsit Perinatal Occupational Therapist for Northamptonshire Foundation Trust (NHFT). In 2019, I graduated as an Occuaptional Therapist at The University of Northampton and moved into working in a medium secure hospital for women diagnosed with a Personality Disorder at St Andrews Healthcare. Following that position, I moved into working for NHFT in their new service the Mental Health Integrated Hub where I supported adults who were diagnosed with a variety of mental health conditions and assessing Mental health needs in the community. Before gaining my qualification as an Occupational Therapist, I was employed by Northampton General Hopsital as a Therapist Instructor supporting the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy department. in this position I worked closely with seevice-users in the Oncology/Haematology and Stroke wards. I have enjoyed gaining experience in both physical and mental health areas which has helped with being able to treat service-users holistically.
