I am a passionate Occupational Therapist with above 8 years of clinical and managerial experience. I have spent most of my years of practice in the child, adolescent and adult mental health area doing clinical, academic and research work. My areas of interest include sensory integration, neurodevelopment , Learning challenges and management. I currently work in the United Kingdom with my past work assignments having been in Zimbabwe and Malawi . I was involved in setting up of private therapy services in Malawi Africa , introducing rehabilitation support services in public primary and secondary schools and also teaching Occupational Therapy Modules in tertiary Institutions. In these experiences i have had the privilege of working with a diverse pool of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Therapists form different parts of the world whom i learnt from and shared my academic knowledge with. Through my previous work i am currently an international student supervisor for Masters Students of Occupational Therapy. Setting up therapy services involved exploring and establishing funding and investments channels from international and local development partners such as the United Nations Development Programme and GIZ.
