I am a passionate occupational therapist who enjoys empowering and enabling client’s life. I am capable of working independently and multitasking to ensure that my clients receive optimal care. My experience of working in various disciplines (e.g.: Stroke Rehab, A&E, Hand Therapy, Geriatrics, Orthopaedics and General Medicine) in acute hospital has enable me to acquire knowledge and skills in assessing and treating clients with different conditions and background. I consistently demonstrate good organisational skill, time efficiency, communication skills, flexibility in working cross-site to support effective service delivery, fast learning ability and generating accurate and concise report. I am capable of organising caseload with flexibility to maximise my time use and ensure quality care are provided to all clients. I am self-motivated and hardworking with strong determination. I am proactive and always invest energy to fulfil any task responsibly and efficiently. I endeavour to be attentive to key directives and standards in works. My involvement in the development and evaluation of OT service within Wexham Park Hospital includes the development and implementation of Osteoarthritis Thumb Group Therapy clinic in Hands Outpatient Team, developing and improvising various patient education leaflets and regular contribution and attendance to in-service training, My skills in nurturing junior OT and OT student has been enhanced through the development of two educational portfolio at QueenMargaretUniversity focusing CPD of OT student clinical supervision. For this commitment, I had also gained the Fellowship status of Higher Education Academy in UK. Currently, I am the student coordinator of my OT department.
