The wonderful thing about being a pediatrician is that memorable moments happen every day. A child comes and sits in your lap to play with your stethoscope; a parent's worried look transforms into a reassured smile; a teenager you have watched blossom over the years heads off to college. I became a physician because I was fascinated with biological science in middle school; I still have that same fascination as I strive to stay up-to-date with current medical knowledge. My love of working with children led me straight into the field of pediatrics, and I love the work that I do. I have been a community pediatrician for more than ten years and feel proud that every single day I have a positive impact on my patients and their families. My goal as a pediatrician is to educate and empower my patients by listening to them and guiding them to make informed decisions.
