Dr Areti Pavlidou is a Consultant Adult and Liaison Psychiatrist working at Dementech Neurosciences Clinical Academic Centre. She also works for the NHS as the Lead Consultant in mental health services. After graduating she completed specialist training in Maudsley Hospital and then completed higher training in Adult Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry in the East London Foundation Trust and St. Bartholomews Hospital. She is also an active member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Dr Pavlidou covers all areas of mental health problems including depression, bipolar affective disorder, OCD, psychotic illnesses and personality disorders. Despite having experience and treating several mental health problems, she has a specific interest in stress-related disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and the connection between mind and body. During her sessions with clients, she uses a holistic and recovery approach to treat mental health problems.
