Mr William Stuart Hislop is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a specialist interest in head and neck tumours, salivary gland surgery, facial trauma and cancer surgery. He qualified in Medicine in 1987 from the University of Bristol before choosing to specialise in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He currently works for the practice NHS Ayrshire and Arran in Scotland and also the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. His clinical work includes skin cancer resection, facial reconstruction following malignancy and oropharyngeal malignancy. He also regularly performs dentoalveolar surgery and application of dental implants. He also enjoys carrying out research, teaching and writing publications.
