Miss Renton qualified in 1983 from Middlesex Hospital, University of London. Her higher surgical training took place in North West and South West London, with a period of research at St Mary’s Hospital where she completed her Masters of Surgery higher degree. She has been a Consultant in Vascular Surgery at Northwick Park Hospital since 1996. Previously a Council of the Venous Forum and the Specialist Advisory Committee for Vascular Surgery. She is now an elected Council member for the Vascular Society and has been elected to be the Vascular Society’s Secretary for the next 4 years. She is an FRCS examiner She has extensive experience of managing venous conditions, including varicose veins and spider veins, venous ulcers and the post phlebitic leg. She is a recognised expert in the field of endovenous therapy and treats patients with varicose veins utilising minimally invasive day case/local anaesthetic procedures.
