I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, who combines various different therapy techniques to find a combination that can work for you.I have deep and varied life experience, in particular of transitions. I’ve been a refugee, worked in the corporate world and am a property developer and manager, worked in not-for-profit organisations including faith groups, lived in several countries as an expat spouse,  learned four languages, and raised a family. All these experiences have given me a valuable understanding of the challenges that you may face, including life changes, anxiety, loss and grief, cultural and spiritual issues, trauma, poor self-esteem, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, workplace tensions, poor school attendance, menopause, childhood experiences, racial issues – and much more. I am encouraged when client regain their self-worth, making sense of past traumas, and are able to thrive and have the life they want with a sense of calm and purpose. I work with individuals, couples and families, in person or online. My experience includes working with survivors of sexual violence and with schoolchildren needing mental health support.
