Thank you!** Dr. Shanthi Colaço is a board certified dermatologist offering patients a full range of medical and cosmetic dermatological care. She graduated with honors majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and minoring in Music from the University of California, Berkeley. After completing a research year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Colaço earned her medical degree at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. This was followed by dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York where she stayed on as volunteer clinical faculty, teaching residents and mentoring students. She practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology in Manhattan, prior to joining the staff at Kaiser West Los Angeles a few years later. Dr. Colaço has trained with some of the most reputable and innovative dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons across the United States. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology to ensure that her patients are offered the most effective and sophisticated treatments available. Her dedication to academic dermatology and education is evidenced by her work that has been published in several reputable medical and surgical journals. In her free time, Dr. Colaco enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, playing the piano and guitar, singing, traveling, cooking, and eating.
