Mr Shabi Ahmad is a Consultant Urologist specialising in minimally invasive surgery for renal and ureteric stones. He also sub-specialised in laser surgery for prostate and bladder cancer.Mr Ahmad completed his undergraduate training at the Dow Medical College in Pakistan and his urology surgical training was in Newcastle. Mr Ahmad became a member of the Royal College of Urology Surgeons in 2008 and in 2015 he achieved fellowship.Mr Ahmad has a wealth of experience and he has trained in urology centres in the UK, South East Asia, and the United States. He has also been actively involved in national and international charities and has helped to deliver health facilities in developing countries.Mr Ahmad has an interest in medical education and he teaches and trains junior doctors as a clinical tutor and supervisor for foundation and speciality trainees.
