Mr Ivo Donkov is an experienced consultant urologist in London. He is based at the Chelsea and Westminister NHS Foundation Trust and West Middlesex University Hospital. Mr Donkov specialises in lower urinary tract problems, benign prostatic hyperplasia, andrology and general urology, as well as the diagnosis and management of: Prostate, testicular, and penile disorders (including penile curvatures and tight foreskin) Urethral, kidney, and bladder disease in men and women Andrology issues - erectile dysfunction and infertility Difficulty with micturition Incontinence Haematuria (blood in the urine) Haematospermia (blood in the sperm) He is one of the first urologists who introduced the minimally invasive Urolift system for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, and have an extensive experience with that. He has extensive training and certifications in urology from Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the United States. Mr Donkov gained his medical qualification from the Higher Medical Institute, Sofia, where he also completed a PhD and a DSc. He also undertook fellowships at UCLH, the University of Leuven (Belgium), and the University of California, Irvine (USA) in Orange County. Additionally, he trained in Spain at a centre of excellence for management of BPH. Mr Donkov is a member of the European Association of Urology, the Endourological Society, and the International Continence Society. He speaks Bulgarian and English.
