Scott Chaney has more than 30 years of Orthopedics experience. He has been the Chief PA for the last 26 years. He oversees the other Physician Assistants in Orthopedics, CV, Urology, and Neurosurgery, Scott assisted in many administrative details of all service lines. He coordinates assignments, call, payroll, and working with direct patient care, and in surgery. He also took on the role of cross coverage and became a PA in Urology, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery as the others had resigned. As Chief PA, Scott had procured a mentoring assignment and preceptorship site in Orthopedics for U of I medical students as well as Marquette University with a Professor role, preceptor of Midwestern University, and Rosalind Franklin University.
