Julia Lekht, PA-C, is a nationally certified, New York State licensed Physician Assistant specializing in the field of Orthopedics. Under the direction of Dr. Nicholas Wessling, Julia handles all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, patient education, interpreting diagnostic tests, as well as assisting in surgery. Julia completed her undergraduate education at Carnegie Mellon University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychology with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. After working for five years in cognitive neuroscience research, she followed her passion for medicine and pursued a career as a Physician Assistant, obtaining her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University - Lenox Hill Hospital. Julia played soccer and swam competitively in her youth, and now plays Ultimate Frisbee and disc golf.
