I am both an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner (NP) which gave me an expanded scope of practice including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests including pathology and imaging and Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE). My areas of special interest are: Diabetes, Alternative Medicine (Plant), Weight Loss, AOD, Men's Health. My background is diverse including general medicine, oncology, haematology, endocrinology and community nursing. I have had experience in both commercial, acute, sub-acute, aged care and community nursing and held positions such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Associate Nurse Unit Manager and Acting Nurse Unit Manager. I am a trained Chemotherapy Nurse, being trained at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and was a Chemo training Facilitator for Peninsula Health. I am also a Nurse Immuniser. Currently, expanding my career using my expanded scope of practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
