Dr. Ramin Pooyan is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Hand and Upper Extremity Specialist. He received advanced fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity/Microsurgery at University of Pittsburgh/Hamot Medical Center. Over the course of his career Dr. Pooyan has received numerous honors and awards, including published articles which have been presented at local and national meetings. Dr. Pooyan specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery for hand and upper extremity conditions, some of which include arthritic conditions of the wrist, hand and fingers, nerve compression syndromes (Carpal Tunnel and Cubital Tunnel Syndromes), Dupuytren’s Contracture, fractures and traumatic injuries of the shoulder and upper extremities.
