Dr. Cappelleti specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, including upper extremity fractures and trauma, microsurgical repair of vessels and nerves, upper extremity arthroscopy and arthroplasty, nerve entrapment, and chronic/degenerative disorders of the upper extremity. Dr. Cappelleti joined the Miami Hand and Upper Extremity Institute after completing his fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and received his Medical Doctorate from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Cappelleti is a Florida native and grew up in Miami. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.​
