Mr Rajiv Limaye is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, he is an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh, and he is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Teesside.He graduated in 1993 as a Medical Doctor and a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in India. For the next 10 years, he completed Orthopaedic and Trauma training at both Junior and Senior registrar level in Liverpool, London, and Oxford. He completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic surgery and following this, it allowed his name to be placed on the specialist register in the UK in 2005. In the same year, he was given the title as NHS Consultant in Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery and he is currently working at the University Hospital of North Tees.His areas of interest within the field of Orthopaedic surgery includes Arthroscopy- ankle and knee, Knee surgery- soft tissue and arthroscopy, Foot surgery- bunion, arthritis, joint replacement, Ankle surgery- sport injury, Sports injuries of knee and ankle, MIS bunion surgery, Mortons neuroma, Toenail surgery, Midfoot fusion, Foot and ankle injections and gait analysis.
