I am a therapist specialized in working with young children and their families. I work with parents to help them understand their child's behavior and know how to respond during difficult parenting moments. I work with children to help them build social skills, understand and regulate their emotions, and overcome traumatic experiences (ex.death, illness) or difficult life transitions (ex. birth of a new sibling, divorce, school expulsion).From birth to five years, children are growing and developing in unprecedented ways. Mental health issues can take them off track and impede healthy development. Fortunately, children in this age group are very flexible and open. With the right kind of support, change can happen very quickly.My services focus on improving the parent-child relationship, and the relationships between children and their teachers and peers. I also focus on skill building for parents and children. I offer a free phone consultation to parents to determine how I can best be of assistance. Older children also welcome!
