I have recently completed my Masters in Occupational Therapy at Queen Margaret University. I completed my dissertation where I explored how children experience returning to school and engaging in play following a traumatic brain injury. During my occupational therapy training I had four practice placements which allowed me to develop my occupational therapy knowledge and skills. These placements were as follows: 1) Community reablement in a small town in The Highlands 2) Acute Adult Mental Health in busy city hospital 3) Medicine of the Elderly in a busy city hospital 4) Children and Young People Services in schools and community I excelled on each placement and enjoyed learning and expanding my knowledge in different settings. I have a strong ambition to succeed and expand my occupational therapy skills. I am currently employed with NHS Lothian as a rotational band 5 OT.
