This award is for consistently excellent patient reviews. Training - Mr Lusty qualified as a doctor at Cambridge University, in 1995. His basic surgical training was on the St Bartholomew's surgical rotation in London. Mr Lusty was a clinical research fellow researching Chondrocyte transplantation at the Royal National Orthopeadic Hosital, Stanmore before starting his higher surgical training there. He spent over a year in Sydney, Australia in 2006-2007 on specialised fellowships in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery and Sports Medicine. Mr Lusty was awarded and completed an AO Trauma fellowship in Germany shortly before he started work in Southend. Mr Lusty is now a Consultant in Southend University Hospital specialising in lower limb elective and trauma surgery.
