He was also awarded the coveted Annual British Shoulder & Elbow Society Fellowship in 2010, & the equally impressive British Orthopaedic Association Fellowship in 2011. He used these fellowships to gain further valuable training in Upper Limb & Trauma Surgery in the US, at Harvard University, the Mayo Clinic, Columbia University, & the Rothman Institute. He was also awarded an AO trauma fellowship to Salzburg. Mr Ali Noorani is a renowned orthopaedic and trauma surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is an expert on sports injuries and trauma and has treated numerous elite athletes, including Premier League footballers, professional cyclists, and boxers. He was also the UK team doctor at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.Mr Noorani is well-known for dealing with complex sports injuries and trauma, and he is often referred to by colleagues to treat these conditions. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship programme in shoulder, elbow, and upper limb surgery at the Royal Liverpool Hospital as well as 16 months of training with the Shoulder and Elbow Service in Stanmore where he gained valuable expertise in complex revision arthroplasty and instability.
