After qualifying in dentistry in 1984 and Medicine in 1993 and following completion of specialist training I have been on the specialist register for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since March 2001. I was appointed as an NHS consultant in September 2001 and have since held appointments at St. George's Hospital in South West London. In 2006 I was awarded a Masters in Surgery from The University of London. Currently I am the Chair of the South West London Cancer Network head and neck cancer NSSG and am also Clinical Director for cancer services at St. George's Hospital. I also oversee the head and neck Clinical Fellow programme in Maxillofacial Surgery at St. George's Hospital.
