I'm a highly experienced Psychotherapist practicing in East London and virtually via Zoom or telephone. Making the decision to seek therapy is often the first step in looking at our issues in a new way and changing the way we think. This takes a great amount of bravery and can feel challenging, but with the right support it can be powerfully life-changing. I primarily work in a relational and intersectional psychodynamic way, meaning I focus on ways in which past experiences, power dynamics and unconscious thoughts impact upon us in our day to day lives. I work collaboratively with clients in order to acknowledge and process these issues in a safe, compassionate, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly space. While attending therapy can be a daunting prospect, I try to hold space which feels containing, and aims for clients to feel empowered in exploring their stories freely. I am a member of the BACP and Birkbeck Counselling Association, and also work as a Clinical Supervisor for the Mental Health charity, Place2Be. I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck University, a Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling from Redbridge Institute and a Certificate in Clinical Supervision from TA East.
