Mr Siddiqui is a gastrointestinal surgeon with extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Routine operations like gallbladder surgery, hernia, bowel, adrenal/spleen surgery and anti-reflux surgery for hiatus hernias are all performed via modern key-hole techniques. He also has an interest in bariatric surgery and offers laparoscopic gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, by-pass procedures and insertion of gastric balloons. Routine investigations of the gastrointestinal tract such as upper GI & Lower GI endoscopies are also undertaken. To date he has undertaken more than 3,000+ advanced laparoscopic procedures and is a well recognised trainer in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Mr Siddiqui also has an interest in paediatric surgery and routinely undertakes common paediatric procedures such as appendicectomies, circumcisions, herniotomies and orchidopexies.
