Michael S Bednar, MD, FAAOS, is an orthopaedic surgeon at Loyola Medicine. His clinical interests include carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist problems and hand problems. Dr. Bednar is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Bednar earned his medical degree at Harvard University. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Cornell University, Hospital for Special Surgery and a fellowship in hand surgery at Indiana Hand Center. Dr. Bednar is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and surgery of the hand. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
