Douglas A. Evans, MD, FAAOS, is an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Loyola Medicine. His clinical interests include knee ligament reconstruction, tendon ruptures and broken bones. Dr. Evans is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the State University of New York, Buffalo, completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the State University of New York, Buffalo and a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Evans is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
