Enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist Children’s Occupational Therapist (OT) based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Megan has been a qualified OT since 2014 after completing a post-graduate masters degree, and have been working in paediatrics for over 6 years supporting children, parents/caregivers and school staff (mainstream and specialist settings). She has a wealth of experience working with children and families from nursery age through to secondary school, with a range of additional needs and diagnoses. These include the following; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delay, DCD (Dyspraxia), sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, and behavioural challenges and anxiety often associated with many of these conditions. More recently, she has also been developing her skill-set in working with children with physical disabilities, including cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, and muscular dystrophy and meeting their social care needs, including manual handling risk assessments and care plans, and specialist equipment and adaptations.
