Dr. Manivannan attended Texas A&M (BS), UNT (MS), University of Texas (MPH), Texas Tech (MD), and then subsequently did her Dermatology residency at the renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Manivannan is also tri-lingual in English, Spanish, and Tamil. Dr Manivannan is trained to diagnose and treat patients with various disorders of the skin, external genitalia, hair, and nails. She has had training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, melanomas, moles and other benign and malignant tumors of the skin. Dr Manivannan is also trained in the management of acne, atopic and contact dermatitis, psoriasis and various other chronic skin conditions. Dr Manivannan also has specialized training in working with skin of color. Dr Manivannan has specialized surgical training as well as training in dermatopathology. She also has expertise in the management of cosmetic disorders of the skin such as hair loss and scars as well as procedures and techniques to aid in skin rejuvenation and anti aging.
