Martin Evans is an Oral and Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgeon with an NHS practice at Birmingham Childrens Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.Mr Evans has been an NHS Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2007. He originally undertook his training in Dentistry at the University of Birmingham and then subsequently his medical training at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. Having completed his postgraduate training in surgery, including posts in neurosurgery, orthopaedics and general surgery, he obtained his fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS). Following this, he then completed a 5 year training programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Completion of this programme and the speciality examination resulted in the award of the speciality Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, FRCS (OMFS) in 2005.Martin Evans has an interest in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, in particular facial deformity, temporomandibular joint disease, and facial trauma. He is also experienced in wisdom tooth removal, jaw cyst removal and removal of oral lesions.
