After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Buckley moved to Philadelphia to pursue further post-graduate education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She then relocated to Southern California and has practiced in both private and hospital based settings. She is a former Chief of Low Vision Services for the Los Angeles County Hospital at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Dr. Buckley's particular interest is the pediatric patient population. She has dedicated part of her practice to children's vision, which directly affects learning, eye alignment, dyslexia and developmental delays. In addition to pediatric eye disorders, Dr. Buckley is especially interested in treating children with special needs and children on the autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Buckley is fluent in Spanish and Italian. She believes that the best outcomes are reached when patients understand their diagnosis and participate in their treatment. As such, she provides specialized and optimal care to each one of her patients. Dr. Buckley is an avid fan of professional tennis and college football. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf and traveling around the world with her family.
