Professor Mark Johnson is a Consultant Obstetrician based in London, UK. He graduated from St Georges Hospital Medical School in 1982, before spending 10 years training as an endocrinologist specialising in diabetes. He went on to set up the IVF unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and become a Senior Lecturer, Reader, and eventually a Professor of Obstetrics at Imperial College London. Professor Johnson has a firm appreciation for holistic care and the empowerment of women throughout pregnancy, and also founded the medical research charity Borne in 2012.
