Maria Restrepo Calis, MD, is board-certified in family medicine and is a family physician with the Southern Maryland Medical Group. Dr. Restrepo Calis earned her medical degree from Universidad CES in Medellin, Colombia. She then completed her residency training at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, which is affiliated with The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Restrepo Calis obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University. She is an active member of the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Women\'s Association. Before joining SMMG, Dr. Restrepo Calis had been in solo practice since 2004. Dr. Restrepo Calis is fluent in Spanish.
