For me, healthcare is not just a career but a calling. Knowing that I have the ability to effect positive change in the lives of others is very rewarding. I am passionate about making quality healthcare more accessible, convenient and cost-effective. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? I believe that primary care is the cornerstone of healthcare. I empower my patients to take charge of their own health by involving them in all decisions and respecting their individual needs, preferences and values. This type of patient-centered care leads to improved individual health outcomes and enhances patient satisfaction. Healthcare should not be “one size fits all”, rather a true partnership between the patient and provider. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time you can find me practicing and teaching yoga, spending time with family and friends, on an adventure with my dog Elton, or somewhere on a dance floor!
