At other times, life presents a huge plot twist and we need to accelerate the pace to keep up and keep moving. We will figure out what’s negotiable and what isn’t; where you have agency and where there is a need for acceptance and perhaps grief about what can’t be resolved. I believe the greatest value in that understanding is in taking the wisdom and knowledge and insights from that experience to guide what we choose next. Together we’ll come up with new perspectives on the problem and new behaviors to experiment with, and together we will process the results.
