I have worked in the field of paediatrics for the past 18 years, assessing and treating children of all ages with a wide range of conditions. Prior to working at Starjumpz I worked in the paediatric department at St Mary's Roehampton and Hopscotch Children's Therapy Centre in Harley Street, London. Earlier in my career I worked in neurology in Rivermeade Rehabilitation Centre in Oxford and The Maudsley Neurosurgical Unit in London. I also worked as a Community Occupational Therapist for Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and Camden Social Services treating adults and children with physical disabiities in the community. my work has also included training of Occupational Therapists and other professionals. I am now an Occupational Therapist at Starjumpz Children's Centre, Tunbridge Wells which is in partnership with Hopscotch Children's Therapy Centre in Harley Street, London and The Child & Family Practice in Goodge Street. Starjumpz is an independent multidisciplinary children's centre which provides a holistic approach to helping children with learning , developmental, motor and /or behavioural difficulties and supporting families and schools. I assess and treat children and adolescents with a wide range of difficulties to functional skills as well as those diagnosed with conditions; including Dyspraxia,Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, DCD,Adopted children, Learning Difficulties, Developmental Delay and Cerebral Palsy. I am trained in many approaches including; Sensory Integration Therapy for Processing Disorders, The star Centre Approach to Sensory disorders , Per spatial Motor Therapy, Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Bobath, integrated Listening Therapy. I attend CPD events and Training events regularly. I am registered with Health Professions Council, a member of the Brishish Association of Occupational Therapists and a member of the Sensory Integration Network I am also a trained Neurofeedback practitioner.
