I work with individuals struggling with sadness, anxiety, self-doubt, self-worth, shame, boundary-setting, self-acceptance, and feeling not good enough. I utilize a systematic approach to help clients build daily coping skills and understand the underlying reasons for their struggles. With greater insight and awareness, clients are able to find their truest voice and build a life that echoes their best self. I also work with couples looking to cultivate healthy communication skills, a richer relational experience, a revived vibrancy. I commonly work with life transitions, parenting questions, and identity conflicts.My approach is psychodynamic and relational. With all clients, my work is based on trust and genuineness. We collaboratively identify important emotions, what triggers them, what they mean, and what can be learned from them. With these tools clients feel more effective living as their ideal self and having greater influence over their personal narrative.Safety and comfort in the therapeutic relationship are of utmost importance.
