As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I believe just as much therapeutic work should be done outside of therapy as within counseling sessions. Being fully invested in the therapeutic process is key to positive outcomes. Clients are expected to be fully present during therapy sessions and open to experimenting with a variety of techniques to assist with identifying how thoughts, feelings, and situations contribute to maladaptive behaviors.I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, and families. My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, anger management, and trauma. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Clayton State University in Morrow, GA, and my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Mercer University.I take a warm, yet direct approach to counseling while holding clients accountable for meeting their goals. I feel it is very important to build a rapport with clients in order to create a trusting, relaxing environment allowing for growth and healing.
