I am an occupational therapy manager experienced widely in mental health services. I have been working in a management role as head occupational therapist in Lambeth for the last 5 years. My previous roles include primary care, general hospital mental health liaison, community mental health care co-ordination, low secure forensic, challenging behaviour services and acute mental health care. I worked for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists on developing improved services and structures to engage members of the profession. I have a wide experience of presenting to small and large audiences delivering information on health and social care, providing training as well as volunteer management. I have also been fortunate to have a role developing carer engagement which has enabled me to co-produce several projects with carers and carer organisations. I have been involved with encouraging the NHS to adopt a response to the climate crisis and am involved in active travel initiatives. Specialties: mental health of adults, older adults, green care, co-production and service design and delivery. I use social media to deliver health messages, involvement and engagement. I have worked across statutory and 3rd sector health and social care sectors. I am a confident public speaker and trainer/practice based educator.
