Lanese A. Henry, APRN, CNM, is a double board board-certified nurse midwife and advanced practice registered nurse with over ten years of experience. Lanese earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse-Midwifery/Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, TN. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, NY. Lanese was a travel registered nurse for AdventHealth in Apopka and New Smyrna Beach for two years before earning her advanced degrees. She was a certified surgical technologist at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL, for five years. Lanese always felt called to deliver babies and help women in underserved populations. Lanese is committed to reducing the maternal mortality rate; providing safe and supportive care where every birthing person is heard, seen, valued, and respected.
