About Lala ArslanI am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with children, young people and families. I have experience working with complex mental health difficulties in young people suffering with suicidality, self-harm, depression; issues surrounding identity or culture, relational difficulties and experience of neurodivergence, among others. I work with young people up to the age of 25, and with parents/carers/families where appropriate.Further to my psychodynamic training, I am currently in doctoral training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in the mental health sector. I have worked for local authorities within NHS settings in Tier 3 and Tier 4 therapeutic provisions, in a pastoral role supporting young people and families with complex mental health needs prior to training as a psychotherapist at Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
