I worked in a Florida Hospital in the Psychiatric Department, providing therapy for Baker-Act patients and patients with medical problems. I do not push my values on patients. I work with the patients on problem-solving skills. I do not push my patients to talk if they do not feel it or if they are not ready to talk about something. I do not provide advice like a best friend. I am a professional mental health counselor and I do provide a humane, warmth empathetic understanding and can work with you on your treatment plan goals. I help you to heal your wounded mind and soul with evidence-based interventions or holistic approaches, and we work together in session to create your treatment goals and develop steps to achieve them! I also provide recommendations and referrals in your therapy session if needed.
