I graduated from Queens University of Belfast, I completed my surgical training in Northern Ireland deanery with a fellowship at St. Marks Hospital in London and Mount Sina Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Since appointment I have developed pelvic floor surgery and laparoscopic colorectal surgery in Northern Ireland. I provide a regional service for pelvic floor disorders. I have been the regional lead in endoscopy and modernised the service in our region as well as being instrumental in introducing bowel cancer screening to Northern Ireland. I am presently the Quality Assurance lead for Northern Ireland Bowel Cancer Screening Program. I am also Associate Post Graduate Dean at Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency. I provide Full Endoscopy services including Therapeutic Endoscopy. Alongside Major Colonic Surgery, including Laparoscopic Surgery. I am also the regional lead for pelvic floor disorders and provide the full range of therapeutic options. I provide extensive service in abdominal wall hernia surgery including groin hernia.
