My name is Kimetha (Kim) Petteway-Turner and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles County. I have 15 years of clinical experience, working with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, women's mental health, and life transitions. Frequently, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), as these modalities help clients learn to change their thinking and gain control of their emotions and behaviors.I work with individuals, couples, and families; and have a special interest in assisting women with building resilience and maintaining good mental health.
