Feeling a bit lost, hopeless or struggling to cope with day to day life? Sometimes life can get overwhelming and you just need someone to support you as you find your way through. I am a fully qualified , accredited person-centred counsellor. I have worked with a range of issues. I started off with 11 years experience as a volunteer counsellor, working for The Acorn Centre in Nuneaton. I now run my own practice as well as tutor adults and facilitate workshops. Before counselling I worked with a wide range of people. If you have never had counselling before you may be wondering what to expect? Some clients prefer the initial contact to be by telephone or email. After this I will offer you an assessment. This gives us a chance to meet face to face and for you to be able to ask any questions you might have and gives me the opportunity to explain how I work. By doing this I hope that you will gain a clearer understanding of what counselling is and whether you feel you want to work with me. If you decide you do want us to work together, our appointments would usually be on a weekly basis. I will do regular "reviews" so that we both know where we are at.
