With over 10 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist, I am a highly skilled health professional who strives to enable my clients to live as independently as possible within their home environment. I work with both adults and children with a variety of physical and neurological conditions such as osteoporosis, upper and lower limb amputations, Parkinson’s disease, sensory loss, and autistic spectrum disorder. I am located in Milton Keynes and visit clients across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Northamptonshire. I have developed my expertise whilst working in a range of hospital and community settings and tailor my approach and recommendations to suit the personal circumstances of each client. I have substantial experience working within the Care Act and have undertaken and led on safeguarding investigations, demonstrating expert knowledge of the safeguarding process. My areas of expertise include functional assessments, activity analysis, housing reports, minor and major adaptations, equipment provision, seating and postural management, and moving and handling cases. I have also developed my skills in the assessment and treatment of clients with hearing impairments, visual loss, or dual sensory impairments. I have completed specialist training on this topic and am also qualified to complete specialist Deafblind assessments.
