Description

Originally from South Africa, I moved to the North East at the age of 5, and went to school in Newcastle (obtaining my GCSEs and A levels from RGS). I qualified from Keele University with an MPharm (2:1), and moved to Harrogate for a hospital preregistration in the District Hospital. Here, I took the initiative to establish Schwartz rounds as a part of the hospital culture, but unfortunately moved on to my next job before I could attend the first. I then moved to Durham and worked as a rotation Band 6 pharmacist for a year while applying to medicine. After being accepted at Newcastle University, I started to locum as a community pharmacist around the North East through my MBBS degree. I am currently entering my final year- both for studies and locuming. I have worked for Tesco pharmacies, Lloyds outpatient departments in NUTH hospital, and TEWV sites across Middlesbrough, Durham and Darlington, as well as many independents.
