Karin Perez grew up in Oklahoma and attended Texas A&M University, where she studied biochemistry and nutrition. She continued her studies at The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing in the pediatric nurse practitioner program. In 2005, she received a Master of Science in Nursing and has practiced in the Austin area since then. Karin considers it a privilege to get to know patients and their families and participate in their care. Karin enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and cooking. She and her husband have three children.
