During therapy, I hope that we can work through barriers that can help you better understand what you’re experiencing. Generally, you’ll be the one directing the session. However, through guidance, support and active listening, therapy sessions will allow us to spend time exploring ways for you to grow and increase self-acceptance As your therapist you can expect to spend some time discussing challenging situations, emotions, and behaviors that have or is affecting your life. In addition to this, certain topics may lead us to speaking on thoughts in your mind from the present or past, which will allow us to establish thoughts and behavior patterns that might be contributing to distress, anxiety, depression, or etc. This will allow us to explore the connection between your unconscious mind and your actions. As your therapist, I would expect the therapeutic journey will allow us to walk through your life experiences, dilemmas, and struggles that are important to you.
