Dr. Jorn Boel held the position of Associate Professor at the National University of Copenhagen since 1986, where he had his internship. Dr. Boel lectured and educated medical students, physiotherapists and pedagogues at the Physiotherapeutic School in Copenhagen. In 2005, Dr. Boel developed his own treatment concept at The International Orthopedic Clinic in Spain. The purpose of this treatment was to ensure fast recovery & early return to work or sport, improve patient satisfaction & outcomes by early rehabilitation after operation using spa and wellness stimulation. Dr. Boel has been clinically responsible for sports, trauma and joint replacement, he operates on sports-related arthroscopies for the knee and shoulder, ACL reconstruction, shoulder stabilization, trauma cases, total hip and knee replacements. Dr. Boel is also involved in diabetes, post-polio, hyper bar treatment and quality control management. Dr. Boel is a Board Member of the Osterlenkirurgin private hospital in Sweden and a Board member of Sealand Corp in Denmark. As the owner of La Clinica in Spain, he developed the concept of early rehabilitation program after Orthopedic Surgery in thermal baths in a cozy, safe and attractive spa & wellness hotels in Spain with high clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
