I qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Huddersfield in 2017 with a 1st class honours degree. As a student I was able to gain experience in a variety of settings including mental health, paediatrics, acute settings and community based settings. Since qualifying I have worked for Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in Stroke and Neurology (2017-2018), Trauma Orthopaedics (2018-2019), Intermediate care (2019) and I am currently working in the Rapid Response Team for Salford NHS Foundation Trust. I have completed the student educator course and thoroughly enjoy supervising students from the local universities. I have also taken opportunities to be involved with audits so that our services can continually improve.
